How do I get rid of this IE8 Icon on my toolbar?

Apparently, overnight, Microsoft took it upon itself to place a Shortcut button on my Yahoo Toolbar to take me to their IE8 webpage. I don鈥檛 want it, I don鈥檛 need it, and I want it off. It does not show up on the buttons list, but nevertheless there it is. Taking up space and annoying me. How can I get rid of this menace?|||i just uninstalled the toolbar , then re downloaded it and reinstalled it and my ie8 button disappeared but my old buttons were still there so all is good on my pc....hope this helps|||Thanks tommyc84. Good answer. However, they added yahoo games %26amp; antispy buttons, those jerks, but I was able to remove them. I had downloaded the IE8 this morning and it crashed my new pc. I've been working on a complete system restore ever since. Still trying to figure out what I lost. Pain in A

|||I only have been using IE%26amp; for a couple of months now. I read about all the problems with it and thus waited for the bugs to get fixed for sure. The same goes with IE8---safest to wait a while before automatically getting it. Now, if the morons at Yahoo would allow me to get rid of the button for it

|||I am baffled as well...one day, the button just appeared. I am hoping someone will have an answer of how to remove it. Dont want to have to uninstall, then reinstall toolbar...has got to be another way! Let me now if you find it!

|||also...I am afraid I will lose all my current buttons ( if I uninstall, the re-install)...I have ALOT of buttons to make it easier to get to sites to pay bills, etc...dont want to have to re-do that again!
