Why is IE8 freezing and getting hung up on certain applications?

My browser window freezes all the time now and my computer revs up really loud as IE8 takes up so much memory trying to load certain web pages.|||use google chrome browser. its really really fast and has no plugins or toolbars alongwith it. If you want to search for something, just type it in the browser address bar itself. It is predictive too. All in all, its the best. IE8 is crap.|||if your running IE8 on windows XP i would strongly advise to uninstall because 8 wasnt designed for xp, its for windows vista and windows 7 so i would unisntall and this will make it go back to 7
