Lock down IE (all flavors) better by blocking 3rd party cookies (browser Privacy section)

For IE8:

try the 'compatibility' mode;

Page%26gt; Compatibility View Settings: here you can add just the one site, or have it set for any site with the "Display all websites ...."

Because of the wide discrepancy of sites %26amp; "Standards" compliance, the new 8 sometimes refuses to render a site properly; this "compatibility" mode adjusts itself by dropping into IE7 mode, in an attempt to correct display problems.

8 detects these page problems, and will have an icon, on it's top line, that looks like a torn page: tick that for 'view in compatibility mode' options also.|||I don't like IE8 or IE7... in fact I don't like IE* at all....

there are a lot of web browsers that are better and easier to use.
