Can you recover data from IE8 when a website goes down?

Suppose you go to a website and fill out a form, then click the "next" button, but the website goes down, causing IE8 to flake out. If you try to go "back" the same website is down there too. But IE8 should still have the data you entered into the form. Is there any way to recover that data, to save it to use the next time the website comes back up?|||Not unless the website saved it to your computer as a cookie. If a cookie saved all or part of it, then those parts will come back next time you fill out the form.
