Yes I am using an ie only style-sheet as well.|||My guess is that one computer is running IE8 in Standards Mode, and the other is running it in Compliance Mode. Unless the site has it manually blocked you can switch modes by clicking the icon for it up near the URL bar.
On a sidenote... IE8 sucks. Get FireFox.|||fixed my problem

|||You ask such a general question without letting anyone have a link to see the coding for the CSS and HTML. Bet you didn't code it correctly or might not even have a document type which puts all browsers in Quirks Mode, but upsets IE the worse at times.
If you didn't design your pages with a little flexibility, then browser window size will have a great affect on the way the page looks.
