How to uninstall ie8 beta version. It is no longer in my add and remove files?

I uninstalled it, rebooted to still have ie8. Download was from Yahoo. No help at microsoft website. System restore is no good.|||Best to Download from Microsoft Downloads web site. IE8 is no longer beta and I downloaded the fully released version from there which replaced the beta version on my system. I have not seen any difference.|||If you install ie 8 new version from microsoft .com it removes all old ie 8 beta versions and keeps ie7 hidden as a backup incase you want to go back.
