The 2nd IE8 will hang and tight up system resources until the iexplorers are terminated via task manager. This is not the case on other browsers such as Firefox.|||There seems to be some IE addons that are messing up IE8. You can goto TOOLS%26gt;Manage addons and disable most addons that you dont need. Then restart IE8. IE8 is most stable release as on date otherwise.
Also if you are genuine windows os user (licensed user), windows updates should download some critical updates that will also add security against popular threats.
It is assumed that you are using a good antivirus software with uptodate virus definitions. Re-scan the whole drive as well.
