How do I uninstall ie8 and get back ie7. It doesn't show it in the uninstall/install control panel?|||The reason that IE8 is not in uninstall/install control panel, is because you probably have Windows XP SP3.
I found out here at Yahoo Answers, that when you upgrade to IE8 and you have sp3, you will not be able to roll back.
Only by going in the registry your self with regedit you can.
That I would not advise, because that is VERY VERY dangerous to do. You have to know precisely what to.do One little mistake and you will have to format your computer and reinstall "Windows.
Leave IE8 and when you do not like ik, why not go to Firefox.
I normally do not do that, I mean promoting a different program, when the asker is not asking for it.
Here it is different, because you cannot roll back to ie7 and using a browser you do not like, is not very nice.
Threfore my suggestion to have a look at Firefox.
