I want different colors and different looks for ie8 and chrome. I want to make them shine like a glassy look or something else. Does anybody know how to do so?|||IE8 can't be themed but the latest Beta version of Chrome can.
For Chrome, download the Beta version 3.0 and then navigate to https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/index.html|||1.) IE8 does not support themes...it uses the Windows theme, whichever one you have applied.
2.) Third-party Windows XP themes require you to patch related operating system files before they will work.
3.) Patching is typically safe, and is not prohibited, but there are slight risks involved. (Incorrectly-patched theme files can cause Explorer to fail to load.)
Any additional questions regarding theme file patching should be referred to the Windows XP forum.
